Sometimes home is a person

“Sometimes home is a person”
Wednesday I asked you all the question, đŸ‘‰đŸ»What was your last thought yesterday?
I often think about moving. I’m not exactly satisfied to live in this area and this house. I’m often dreaming with my husband, our daughter and her family to immigrate to France. But that does not really happen. I like solitude, minimalism, tranquility and living in a city like Antwerpen all these things fairly impossible. But you should never give up your dreams, you never know.

I hope you like it, give comments and share it with your friends.

Gift

web48-gift

As you probably read in my two previous posts the tea topic question this week was

“What’s the last thing you bought?”

This is an easy one to answer, last thing I bought before I made this work was a bunch of flowers as a gift to someone.

About the image itself: Pelican symbolizes generosity and dark red roses represents gratitude.

Sometimes it’s not people who change, it’s the mask that falls off.

Sometimes it's not people who change, it's the maskes that falls

As you probably read in my two previous posts the tea topic question this week was

“What bothers you quickly?”

My answer to the question is undoubtedly, people with two faces, hypocrites, … What makes them suddenly turn against you even if you believe there is nothing wrong. They compliment you to your face but judge you behind your back. I’d rather have an enemy who admits they hate me, instead of a friend who secretly put me down.

About the image itself: The ostrich is known to put “his head in the sand” jus like two faced people when you confront them they had absolutely nothing to do with it .

Umbrellas of illusion

As you probably read in my two previous posts the tea topic question this week was

“Who from the past would you like to meet?”

This image is very much inspired on Rene Magritte’s Golconda as you can see.

About the image itself: The umbrellas are to me a symbol of protection so you could see some kind of longing to be protected.

Sadness flies away on the wings of time.

As you probably read in my two previous posts the tea topic question this week was “What’s your very first memory?”
My memory is not an exact moment of event in time but an emotion, a general feeling that I’ve had my entire childhood and young adult life, it clings to me like gum in your hair, easy to obtain but very difficult to get rid of it.
It’s a feeling of sadness, loneliness, … It’s not my intension to be pathetic or elicit compassion from you, because without my past, my present would look totally different. And I can tell you with confidence and a cheerful heart, I wouldn’t change my present life.

About the image itself: The little crown I used as a symbol for the girl how has every thing, the spoiled one, the raven is generally thought to be a symbol of sadness, loss and death in most European countries.
